Omaha-based healthcare company Fusion is being awarded a Merit Award for Corporate Social Responsibility, an achievement earned for the company’s efforts to carry out their core purpose of improving the lives of everyone they touch. The Merit Awards recognize the achievements of companies and the communities they serve—each business honored has contributed to improving the community around them.

Being honored with a Merit Award for our efforts in corporate social responsibility is humbling,” said Calli Hite, Vice President of Communication and PR at Fusion, “We have passionate and driven employees who are eager to jump at opportunities to help others. The credit for this award goes to those employees who live out Fusion’s core purpose every day.”

The Merit Award for Corporate Social Responsibility acknowledges the dedication a company has toward its community and how it prioritizes giving back. Fusion contributed more than 3,000 volunteer hours and donated more than $300,000 to various organizations in 2023.

This year, Fusion intends to do even more. In just the first half of 2024, Fusion has dedicated more than 2,500 hours to community engagement. Its employees will continue to frequent its partner organizations like Alpaca, Rainbow House, QLI, and the Stephen Center.
